| The
Swiss full-bugg technique
it's the love of detail that makes all the difference |
||
| You can recognise a RIOS1931 watch strap by a quality feature that has become, something of a rarity in our fast-moving times of mass production: the traditional full-bugg or full-turned technique. Nothing less than this especially exacting handicraft technique can meet our quality standards and guarantee such unparalleled lasting value. | ||
| We distinguish between three RIOS1931-manufacturing techniques: | ||
| 1. The normal full-bugg strap | 2. The full bugg strap with sheath | 3. The full-bugg strap "ART MANUEL" |

| The upper leather (bugg mantle) is turned around the fleece padding and tucked under the leather lining, glued and thus double stitched. | On
this full-bugg strap,
the edges are additionally smoothed and polished with heat and wax. |
With this high-end technique for our most exclusive articles, the edges are smoothed with heat, sanded down and then painted 5 times with edge dye. Loops and buckle flap are stitched by hand. |
